Temperature: high and low
My Norbert device dashboard shows low temperatures. What does it mean?
Normal body temperature ranges between 97 to 99℉ (36.1 to 37.2°C). But it could be slightly lower if you are coming from the outside, or a colder room (as low as 93.5℉). It takes about 5 minutes for your body to adjust and get back to the normal range. To have accurate temperature scan, wait 5 minutes and try scanning again.
What should I do if elevated temperature is detected?
Elevated temperature definitely might be a concern in terms of the public safety. Please make sure to confirm the temperature reading with a clinical grade thermometer and follow your company safety protocol.
Please remember that the optimal device performance requires:
Correct distance between the subject and the device (about 3.5 feet)
Adequate time for the body to acclimate to the ambient (indoor) temperature, which typically takes 1 to 2 minutes.
